Sahin returns to Dortmund

Nuri Sahin completed a loan deal that saw him rejoin the club he left a few seasons ago.

The midfielder returned to  the German champions Borussia Dortmund on loan. The Real Madrid player saw his season long loan deal to Liverpool cancelled.  I wonder why Brendan Rodgers went all out to sign him on loan in the first place, just to stick him on the bench. It wasn't as if he was benched because there were better players ahead of him. Joe Allen and Jojon Shelvey ain't great midfielders by any stretch of imagination! All the talk of slowing down the play is a bit wishy washy, didnt they watch him play before they signed him?

He must be wishing he had signed for the Arsenal when he had the chance, as Santi Carzola would testify and he must be thanking his lucky stars he didnt insult his former team when he left for Spain, like some footballers like to do.

He said he was delighted to return home and wanted to help the team mount a challenge in their title defence. He looked pretty happy at the unveiling!
