Jaguar has unveiled the C-X16 concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Essentially a preview of the 2013 XE, the car has an aluminum chassis and a striking appearance. Inside, the cabin looks virtually production ready and is furnished with leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber trim. Power comes from a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine with 380 PS (280 kW / 375 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which has an integrated electric motor that contributes an additional boost of 95 PS (70 kW / 94 hp) and 173 lb-ft (235 Nm) of torque. This enables the svelte coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).
