Winter Olympics 2018: Silver Medallists

Here is a summary of the HWiS alumni who won Silver medals at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.

Darya Domracheva
Darya won Silver for Belarus in the Biathlon, winning this in the Mass Start. In Sochi she had won multiple Golds, but this time settled for Silver.

Ragnhild Mowinckel
Norwegian Ranghild won two Silvers. She got silver in the Giant Slalom and in the Downhill. This capped a wonderful game for the 25 year old.

Anna Veith
Formerly Fenninger, Anna Veith took Silver in the Super G, losing to surprise winner Ester Ledecka. She was the reigning champion having won in Sochi

Justine Dufour-Lapointe
Canadian Justine won Silver in the Moguls. She was the reigning champion having won in Sochi, but the 23 year old could only win Silver this time round

Ekaterina Bobrova
Ekaterina won her Silver in the Figure Skating, being part of the Olympic Athletes of Russia squad that took second place.
