Veronica Varekova was born June 19, 1977 in Olomouc, Czech Republic. She is a Czech Supermodel and moved to the United states at age 19 to live in New York City. After she was signed with a model agency, she decided that moving to Europe would be an advantage for her model career.
She owns 2 degrees, in Psychology and Education. She modeled numerous times for the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated. Veronica Varekova was a Victoria’s Secret model and the face of Nivea. She worked together with Guess, Chanel and Pantene. She appeared on various magazine covers, including Marie Claire, Harpers & Queen and Cosmopolitan.
She got married to the professional NHL player, Petr Nedved, in July 2004. Unfortunately the marriage didn’t last, they got divorced two years later.
